Merger Discussion Follow-Up
TRO decided at the meeting Tuesday night to delay for 6 months the final decision on the merger.   The club will continue to operate as before, having meetings, Public Service and Public Relations events according to previous schedules.
For further developments, keep an eye on this Bulletin and the club’s Facebook page.  You can access the page here:

TRO Club Officer Elections
No nominations were made at the meeting.  Most officers are willing to continue in their positions, except for President and Secretary.
Chase Crum, KG5CLM, has to step down because a new job requires him to travel too much to allow him time to dedicate to club business and activities.  Ed Compos, K5CRQ, has served the club well as Secretary for many years, but he has reached the end of his time in that position.  Many thanks to Ed and Chase for your valuable service to ham radio and the TRO!
Bart Pickens, N5TWB, is the nominating committee chairman.  Contact him if you are interested in either one of the open offices, or if you wish to railro... uh, recommend someone for a particular position.  You can contact Bart at:
bart.pickens@okalliance.com, or (405) 570-3008.
